For each installed store, OmnibusGuard stores: the store domain and plan; a mirror of the product catalog (titles, handles, variant titles, SKUs, measurement data); recorded price observations per market (price, advertised was-price, timestamp, source); violation alerts; product-safety (GPSR) fields the merchant enters; display snapshots (the exact reference-price line shown, dated); and display settings including wording templates.
No customer personal data of any kind — no names, emails, addresses, orders or payment details. The mandatory GDPR webhooks are implemented: customer data requests and redactions return empty (nothing held), and a shop redaction deletes every record we hold for that store.
Recorded observations exist solely to compute the store's own compliance state (30-day-lowest references, unit prices, verdicts, evidence exports) and are shown only to that store. We do not sell data, aggregate it across stores, or use it for anything beyond operating the app.
The theme embed requests the reference-price line from our API with the product context on the page and the visitor's country (used only to resolve the market). No visitor identifiers are collected or stored.
Data is retained while the app is installed. Uninstalling stops all processing immediately; Shopify's shop-redaction webhook (48 hours after uninstall) permanently deletes all stored data.
